On its first release, the Air Jordan 6 “Black Infrared” was an immediate hit — and for a very good reason. This was reminiscent of the shoes Michael Jordan wore on his first championship: a combination of black and Infrared 23. Since then, the Air Jordan 6 has gone through changes with the most recent ones released roughly four years apart (2010 and 2014).

So what are the obvious differences between the two? Well, the newer version actually looks more similar to the original series. The 2014 Air Jordan 6 had a more “yellowish” hue at the soles — something that has been changed to a more ‘hot pink’ in the latest version.
